DESCRIPTION:It is the second to last reading of the year before we take our usual break in December. So\, move your butt. Get on down! \nDoors open at 7:30pm\nPoetry Reading begins 8:30pm\nThere is no feature. Bring the poems. Light a fire. \nThe sang slanted into saying\, “Here am I\,”\nanother word cupping the tongue into mysterious being\,\nbuttered with the buzz of meaning\, and littering language\ninto puffs of smokes where on this art I choke\nand learn to breathe again. I ask the painting\, the poem\,\nthe dance\, the song\, the ceremonious day in and out sky\,\n“When you are done being beautiful what will you choose be?” \nAnd so I ask myself\, and speak in sentences direct\nlike I was looking squinty-eyed and searching\nall the while hoping for rain and perhaps just one more\,\none more poem. \nRise up with us in another night of one more\, one more\,\nonward \,one more poem. \n
